SURF-ACTIVETM dispersions represent a quantum leap in the process of producing superior and enhanced rubber products. This revolutionary dispersion is designed to work in synergy with fine natural, nitrile and other synthetic lattices. Unlike traditional chemical dispersions, SURF-ACTIVETM dispersions are well dispersed in aqueous phase, minimizing sedimentation and valuable chemical waste during compounding and manufacturing processes. Its uniform chemical distribution on polymer matrix not only afford less pinholes rejects on thin articles like condom and nitrile gloves, but also gives consistent tensile strength and tear resistance.

SURF-ACTIVETM dispersions help speeds up latex compound maturation and in some cases allow reduction of chemical dosage leading to cost savings to a formulator. Polymer films with SURF-ACTIVETM ZnO, besides improving transparency will enable formulator to reduce ZnO dosage without compromising the physical properties of the vulcanizate. This eventually can lead to less Zinc in waste water streams thus reducing waste water treatment costs.

Enhanced interaction of SURF-ACTIVETM Sulphur for example, with polymer particles produces positive effect on burst pressure/volume in the case of condoms and will improve the colour, brightness and durability of thin nitrile gloves.
